Neurosurgery Surgical Research Laboratory

In the Neurosurgery Surgical Research Laboratory there are multiple ongoing basic and preclinical research projects involving studies of cerebral vasospasm and stroke. These studies range from basic bench-top assays of components involved in vasospasm pathways, to surgical models of disease pathways, to innovative use of new technologies to treat VSP, to imaging studies (PET, fCT, fMRI) of physiological changes involved in these disease processes.
