Laboratory for Cellular Engineering
Bob S. Carter, M.D., Ph.D.

See the Nidus Lab for Cellular Engineering web site. This is a web-based collaboration area the Carter laboratory at Massachusetts General Hospital. Our laboratory is interested in viral and cellular therapies for neurologic disease.

We have an active interest in developing and characterizing the use of viral vectors for gene transfer into the CNS and for the ex-vivo modification of cells that may be used for CNS therapies. We work closely with investigators in the Harvard Gene Therapy Initiative to achieve these goals.
